In Punjab, protesting farmers burnt effigies at many places, including Amritsar, Muktsar, Moga, Tarn Taran, Sangrur and Bathinda. Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal also raised a black flag at his house in Muktsar district and urged the Centre to accept the demand of protesting farmers. In Haryana, state Bharatiya Kisan Union chief Gurnam Singh Chaduni said farmers at many places hoisted black flags as a mark of protest.
