The CBI arrested four senior Trinamool politicians, including cabinet ministers Firhad Hakim and Subrata Mukherjee, former mayor Sovan Chatterjee and ex-transport minister Madan Mitra, in the Narada sting case — tapes shot in 2014 purportedly showed 12 TMC ministers and leaders accepting money from representatives of a fictitious company — in a dramatic early-morning operation here on Monday.
