At least 30 people have lost their lives in a village in Uttarakhand’s Roorkee this month after suffering from Covid-like symptoms, locals said on Sunday. The administration did not give out the exact number of deaths in Libberheri village but said "several people have died". A senior government official said teams from different departments like revenue, health and police have been pressed into service to know the exact cause of deaths.
